Hank III performed at Emo's last night for a blistering three and a half hours winding through sets of country music, punk rock, doom metal, ear-searing grindcore paired with cattle auctioneer samples (cattle-core), and all around rambunctiousness. The crowd was just as eclectic as the set, a mix of hipsters, old timers, burnouts, bikers, Mexican gang members, and more white trash than you can shake a stick at. Good times. Here's a few pics from the show.
Now, do yourselves a favor and head over
here to pick up last year's "Ghost to a Ghost/Guttertown" album, easily our favorite record of 2011.
