Dreamboat

It's that time of year when i start coming across the dozens of excellent artists, albums, and songs that somehow eluded me in earlier months.  One such artist and album is Dreamboat, a project consisting of experimental, ethereal folk musician Ilyas Ahmed and the cosmic analog synth and clarinet duo Golden Retriever.  Dreamboat's music works something like walking along the fringes of the known universe, the well-trodden and decaying reality on one side, and the utter unknown and forever expanding darkness on the other.  Listen to side one of the record, "Aftershock / Face to Face" below and snag the album from MIE.
