There are a ton of old artists that i discover only because their work gets sampled in other work, and honestly it's kind of fun to play sonic detective and find these old tunes bases a few seconds worth of looped sound. Galt Mac Dermot's "Princess Gika" for instance, was sampled by MF DOOM on the song "That's That." And now i love both. Check it out below, our Daily Jam.
