Holy Hive

New York band Holy Hive make a dark and brooding kind of music that pulls from soul, folk, and mellow psychedelia.  It's simultaneously haunting and soothing, and for some reason reminds me of when i would drive between Austin and Midland, Texas in college to visit my parents, a 5+ hour drive i would often make late at night with long stretches of nothing but darkness and stars.  Check out "Golden Crown" below and pre-order the upcoming self-titled album here from Big Crown Records.
