You ever come across one of those bands that's been around for awhile and whose sound fits perfectly into your wheelhouse, but for some reason or another you never heard of until just now? That's me this fine Sunday morning listening to the cinematic psych and funk of Italy's Calibro 35 and their 2013 LP "Traditori Di Tutti." The whole thing plays like a soundtrack to some '60s/'70s Italian crime film, each track the perfect accompaniment to bank heists, shootouts, and car chases through the streets of Rome.
