Found Vinyl: Space Art - Trip in The Center Head

There ain't no party like a French cosmic synth-pop party, cause a French cosmic synth-pop party don't stop!  It's no secret that i'm a huge nerd about synthesizer-centric music, be it classical compositions re-imagined by computers, a horror movie soundtrack, or just good, old fashioned dance jams.  French duo Space Art, and their 1979 opus "Trip in The Center Head" wades the waters forged by Beaver and Krause and Wendy Carlos, crafting a synthetic sonic world of what the future was supposed to sound like.  Listen to "L'Obsession d'Archibald" to get started.

I imagine an old school circuit board with lights flashing and colors moving here and there, like walking into a scene from the original "Tron."  An Atari wonderland.  Now, listen to "Eyes Shade," a track that has more of a movie score thing going for it.

And here's one more called "Psychosomatique."

If you can find it, this album is definitely worth your time, especially for all of you purveyors of all things old and synthetic.
