Pura Crema

In July, i'm taking a long weekend to head up to Washington state to hang out with some old friends, take a road trip from Seattle to Spokane, go on a brewery crawl or two, and explore.  While researching some things to do in Spokane (a couple of which i got from the exploits of Shawn Baker), i discovered Resurrection Records, a record store/label that looks to be a short ride from my hotel.  I'm not sure what the overall selection will look like, but the stuff on the label is all pretty great, so i'm envisioning myself coming back to Texas with a bag full of 7" records and more.  One of the label's most recent releases is the "Fin De La Era" 7" from Mexican band Pura Crema, two sides of noisy, surfy post punk to butter up my ears.  Listen to A-side title track below, and grab it here.
