The good folks over at Library of the Occult have really been churning out the releases that burrow their way straight into my brain matter these days, whether it be dark synth bangers or droney creepy-crawlers. And their latest takes things even further, a mix of psychedelic jazz, ambient tones, and synth stirred in a black cauldron by Ivan The Tolerable. On "White Tears" the artist makes something brooding and mysterious, full of foreboding and feeling like it's on the precipice of an acid freakout or something.
