Here's a new track from Bleached. "Shitty Ballet" sounds like some lost '90s alt-rock tune that builds and builds and builds until it finally breaks in a wave of fuzzy guitar riffs and feedback. It feel nice. Watch the video below and maybe be on the lookout for a new record soon on Dead Oceans.

Bleached
Bleached have a new EP out in March after last year's excellent "Welcome the Worms" LP. Punky, feminine alt-rock for the masses, listen to the title track from the "Can You Deal?" EP below, grab the record in March on Dead Oceans, and pre-order a zine the band put together with proceeds benefiting Planned Parenthood.

Bleached
LA's Bleached have always made fun little garage rock nuggets, but on their new album "Welcome the Worms," out next week on Dead Oceans, the ladies seem to be tapping into a bigger, more stomping form of pop-rawk, belting out the jams like some kind of spitting, sneering sirens, luring and daring you to the stage. It's really damn good and fun. Listen to "Wednesday Night Melody" below.

The Reflections
It's not quite summer yet, but i spent most of my day outside today, yard work, running, and spending some time at Ladybird Lake with my dog. LA's The Reflections, the side project of Bleached drummer Jon Safley, provided the perfect soundtrack for said day, offering a collection of dreamy, jangly, sun drenched jams on their debut LP, "Limerence," from Arc Recordings. Listen to "Summer Days" below.
