January brings us a new album from Germany's The Notwist, a band i have not thought about in years.  Back in the early '00s when everyone was freaking out over The Postal Service, i found myself more drawn to the similar electro-folk-pop sounds of Markus Acher and company instead.  Check out new tune "Where You Find Me" below and pre-order the upcoming "Vertigo Days" LP here via Morr Music.

Daily Jam - Consequence

"Neon Golden," the 2002 album from German band The Notwist, was one of those random albums i picked up on a whim whilst perusing racks of used CDs years ago when i was still buying CDs.  A kind of avant garde mix of indie folk and electronica, i was mesmerized by it.  That particular sonic combo would become a bit of a thing over the next couple of years, but i always favored The Notwist.  Check out the album closing "Consequence" below, our Daily Jam.
