Ambient experimental band Conveyor provided a live score to screenings of George Lucas' 1971 film "THX 1138" in New York back in December and January. New album "Prime" is a chronicle of those performances...and it's hypnotizing. Playing like some kind of lost and droning krautrock masterpiece, "Prime" feels like staring into some synthetic abyss, a singular point of light just too far away to see.
