Luis Bacalov was an Argentine/Italian film score composer, a peer of Morricone and more, who scored several films during his tenure. In the early '70s, he provided the soundtrack for the spaghetti western "The Grand Duel," though i know the music (and probably you too) from its used in "Kill Bill." Anyway, it's wonderful.
