I have to admit that i was late to the Ethel Cain train, but this year's "Perverts" album got me hooked, that album's sprawling mix of ambient, drone, field recordings, goth, and more putting me in very specific kind of headspace. It ruled. Anyhoo, the artist has another album coming out this year with August's "Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You." Our first taste is new tune "Nettles," and its mellow Americana and folk sound signals something far more accessible than "Perverts."
