Blushing and Miki Berenyi

Austin shoegaze band Blushing have been kicking out albums for a few years now, each one getting better and more confident than the one that preceded it, and on their upcoming new album "Possessions," they find themselves collaborating with shoegaze royalty.  Check out "Blame" featuring Miki Berenyi of Lush fame below, and pre-order the record here from Kanine.

Blushing

I feel like Austin's Blushing were on the verge of breaking out based on the strength of last year's self-titled album, and i think it can still happen if maybe we all just buy a bunch of music tomorrow...and onward.  Check out the gorgeous and floaty shoegaze and dreampop of album intro "So Many" below, download it here, and get the LP here from Wallflower Records.

Blushing

In researching bands to check out next week during SXSW, i keep coming across great local artists i've never heard of, and in the meantime, amassing quite the list of said artists to try and see live someday soon.  One of those is Blushing, a dreamy shoegaze 4-piece from Austin.  Listen to "The Truth" below, the A-side from the band's "The Truth b/w Sunshine" 7", download it from the band here, and get the the record here from The Nothing Song.
