Daily Jam - Sleep a Million Years

California artist Kathy Heideman released one album of folk and country back in the '70s and then faded into obscurity.  Naturally, the good folks at Numero Group sniffed it out a few decades later and re-released it back into the wild.  Here's a wonderful track from it to help move us towards the end of the week.  Listen to "Sleep a Million Years" below, our Daily Jam.

LA psych rock band The Allah-Las have an EP of covers headed our way in November courtesy of Mexican Summer.  Tackling tracks from George Harrison, Television, and Further, the record looks to comb through a variety of influences.  The band also take a stab at forgotten folk-country artist Kathy Heideman's "The Earth Won't Hold Me," and it's a fantastic, dusty and sun-fried little psychedelic jam.  Listen below.
