Daily Jam (October Edition) - Mad Monster Party

Sadly, i have never seen the 1967 animated TV program "Mad Monster Party" from Rankin/Bass Productions, the same folks who made that "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" show that gets re-aired every Christmas.  I need to remedy that because i love the music.  Check out the (almost Bond feeling) theme song by Maury Laws with vocals from Ethel Ennis below, our Daily Jam.

Mad Monster Party

The good folks over at Waxwork Records have yet to release anything that hasn't been absolutely stellar, and their latest, the soundtrack to the fun and quirky "Mad Monster Party" continues that trend.  I have never actually seen the 60's animated film before, but judging by the music, and the photo stills i've seen online, i need to remedy that.  Listen to Maury Laws' and Jules Bass' wonderful title track below.
