Liturgy & LEYA
Experimental black metal band Liturgy have teamed with experimental neo-classical duo LEYA for new song that's equal parts chaotic and solemnly ominous. Check out "Antigone" below and get the track here from NNA Tapes. Hopefully we'll see some further collaborations from the artists in the near future.

TALsounds
Digging on more music from the Windy City this morning, this time around from the improvisational and experimental artist TALsounds. Utilizing analog synthesizers to create deep and layered soundscapes, the artist who also goes by Natalie Chami, just released her new album "Acquiesce" last month on NNA Tapes. Beautiful, transfixing stuff. Listen to "Hermit" below and get the record here.

Tredici Bacci
New York band Tredici Bacci's particular brand of Morricone soundtrack-inspired Italian pop music was far and away one of the most entertaining things i saw at SXSW a couple of years ago when the group performed one of the day parties i attended. And now, with a new record headed our way in March, i can only hope that means that a return to Austin is in store for us as well. Listen to the JG Thirlwell assisted "Emmanuelle" below and pre-order the "La Fine Del Futuro" LP here from NNA Tapes.

Booker Stardrum
Here's some interstellar noise-jazz and cosmic ambient drum explorations from percussionist and experimental composer Booker Stardrum. "Swimming" sounds like meeting the space baby and basking there for all eternity. Listen below and pre-order the upcoming "'Temporary etc.'" LP here from NNA Tapes.

Erica Eso
Brooklyn art project-turned-band Erica Eso have a record coming out tomorrow, "129 Dreamless GMG" on NNA Tapes. Pulling from dreampop, R&B, electronica, yacht rock, and '80s pop, the group's work is a grooving, pulsing, and hazy affair, a constant synthetic blur on your periphery. Listen to "Gun-metal Grey" below and get the record here.
