Daily Jam - Tired of Waiting for You

Here's a cover of The Kinks' "Tired of Waiting for You" by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood that was unearthed a few years ago by Light in the Attic Records for their series of Lee Hazlewood reissues.  It's quite lovely.  Check it out below, our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam - Let Me Kiss You

Nancy Sinatra released a kinda sorta comeback album back in the '00s that featured production and songs and assists from the likes of Jarvis Cocker and Thurston Moore among others.  It also featured this cool cover of Morrissey's "Let Me Kiss You."  Check it out below, our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam - Some Velvet Morning

In some regards, i think i should just pick a different Lee Hazlewood song to play everyday on this Daily Jam thing.  It'd be great, and the quality would never suffer as the man was responsible for so much cool shit.  And for whatever reason, whenever he was paired with Nancy Sinatra, that cool shit became transcendent.  So here's "Some Velvet Morning" from 1968's "Nancy & Lee," your Daily Jam...

Pharmakon covers Nancy Sinatra

Every year on Record Store Day, Sacred Bones Records releases a compilation album of rare or unused tracks from their artists called "Todo Muere"...and every year it totally kicks ass.  2014 looks to be no different.  One of the highlights has to be this haunting cover of Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang" from experimental noise/drone artist Pharmakon.  Pharmakon was one of the more interesting acts to surface last year and i love, love, love Nancy Sinatra, so this is right up my alley.  Take a listen below and be sure to grab the record on April 19th.
