Daily Jam (October Edition) - Willow's Song
It's been a spell, and i think it's probably time i give "The Wicker Man" a rewatch. Put that on the to-do list. In the meantime, here's some music from the film. Listen to Paul Giovanni's "Willow's Song" below, our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam (October Edition) - Fire Leap
I've really been on a folk horror kick, both in sound and vision, ever since Severin Films released their amazing "All the Haunts" folk horror box set a year ago. So here's a cut from Paul Giovanni and Magnet's score from "The Wicker Man." Listen to the ritualistic "Fire Leap" below, our Daily Jam.

Daily Jam - Willow's Song
Not sure how i missed that The Go! Team recorded a cover of Paul Giovanni's "Willow's Song" from the soundtrack to "The Wickerman" 15 years ago, but here we are. Evidently the cover appeared on a bonus disc on the UK CD special edition release of the band's "Proof of Youth." So there you go. Anyway, check it out below, our Daily Jam.

Popular Music
Last month, LA duo Popular Music released "Popular Music Plays In Darkness," an album of analog synth chamber pop cover versions of songs from the movies. I'm digging on the dreamlike quality of the whole thing, but especially so with "Willow's Song," originally written by Paul Giovanni for Robin Hardy's "The Wicker Man," and performed in the film by Britt Ekland...in the nude. Check it out below and get the album here.
