Jesus Lizard and Scratch Acid front man David Yow has released an album of solo material called "Tonight You Look Like a Spider," and it doesn't sound anything like i would have expected. Rather than a blast of sweaty, spitting, noisy and experimental punk, this mostly instrumental affair (15 years in the making) stretches its greasy fingers into horror film textures, claustrophobic atmospheres, and experimental and industrial soundscapes.
