One of my high school favorites, Dallas's Tripping Daisy, are set to hit Austin in May, performing 1995's "I Am an Elastic Firecracker" in full. I think i may have to attend. Long time indie rock artist Damien Jurado has had a prolific streak for pretty much his entire career. It's difficult for me to keep track of it all, especially since he has a penchant for going back to older material and re-recording variant versions of it all. So i never know if something is brand new or just a new take on old material. Whichever the just released "All Are Welcome In: A Return to Maraqopa" is, it's wonderful.
