RIP Krzysztof Penderecki

I totally missed this until i saw that a couple of friends had posted about it online yesterday, but influential Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki passed away over the weekend.  His most famous composition is probably "Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima," segments of which were used in Kubrick's "The Shining," and Lynch's "Twin Peaks: The Return."  It's a haunting and terrifying piece of music, and it pretty much can totally soundtrack our current timeline.  RIP Penderecki.
