The Black Albumen

Here' some weird and cool music from The Black Albumen.  On "Overegginnit," the band channels the sounds of '60s-'70s English prog rock band Egg, restricting their instrumentation to that used by the band on their 1969 debut, namely organ, piano, tone generator/test oscillator, bass, and drums.  They also brought along Finnish singer and poet Hanna Ylitepsa for vocals.  The result is a proggy, jazzy, experimental dream.  Check out album opener "New Decade" below and pre-order the album here from Buried Treasure.
