Zombi

Hell yeah, we've got new music from Zombi coming our way in March.  Check out the chugging, apocalyptic sounds of "The Post-Atomic Horror" below and pre-order the "Direct Inject" LP here from Relapse.

Zombi & Friends

Pittsburgh synth and prog duo Zombi are back with a new album, though this time it's a covers record, and they've brought some friends along to provide the vocals.  Hear the band cover everyone from Dionne Warwick to Neil Diamond and beyond, featuring assists from members of The Sword, Trans Am, and more.  It plays like a stoner's yacht rock album.  Check out the cover of the Alan Parsons Project's "Sirius/Eye in The Sky" below and get the "Zombi & Friends, Vol 1" LP here from Relapse.

Majeure

Here's some new music from Majeure, the side project of Zombi member A.E. Paterra.  "Phantasie" finds the artist courting a more ambient sound than usual, but it totally works.  Listen to "Macuma" below and grab the cassette release here via VCO Recordings.

Zombi

Hazaa!  This October sees the triumphant return of Zombi, with the duo's new record "Shape Shift," just in time for Halloween.  The new album finds the band focusing on a more live prog rock sound, with plenty of horror score motifs sewn within.  I'm stoked.  Pre-order the record from Relapse and listen to "Pillars of the Dawn" below.

Contact

Contact is the collaborative duo of synthesizer enthusiast A.E. Paterra (Zombi, Majeure) and film soundtrack composer Paul Lawler.  The band create cinematic synthesized soundscapes to marvel to the universe to.  Take a listen to "Distant Voices" below and grab the "First Contact" LP from Temporary Residence.
