Dean Blunt, Elias Rønnenfelt, & Vegyn

Enigmatic recording artist Dean Blunt dropped new EP "Lucre" on the first of this month featuring Iceage front man Elias Rønnenfelt on vocals, and production from regular collaborator Vegyn.  In true Dean Blunt fashion, there is next to no information about the release with the whole thing currently only streaming as one long track on YouTube with no other information.  But damn, if it's not really, really good.  Check it out below.

Dean Blunt

UK artist and producer Dean Blunt recently released a collection of pieces written and recorded from 2012-2019.  "Roaches 2012 - 2019 ($up£r D€lux£)" is a whopping 52 tracks of hip-hop, soul, jazz, dub, and lo-fi haze that sounds like some mad genius's mix tape that got left in the sun.  Check out the moody and warbly album opener "Felony" below and get the whole thing here via World Music.

Joanne Robertson

Here's a haunting little folk jam from frequent Dean Blunt collaborator Joanne Robertson.  "Heat" will be issued later in the summer on Blunt's and Inga Copeland's new World Music imprint.  Listen below.

Here's a wonderful, soothing new jam from Dean Blunt (formerly Hype Williams).  "Papi" is taken from Blunt's new LP, "The Redeemer," due from Hippos in Tanks in May.  And i'm under the weather right now, so this is the perfect jam to send me off to sleep land.  Goodnight everybody.
