Daily Jam - Adult Goth

Gang Gang Dance have been one of the more interesting acts to come out of this century, blending elements of world music, dance, synth pop, and all around experimental weirdness into something wholly their own.  Here's the infectious "Adult Goth," from the band's 2011 album "Eye Contact," an absolutely killer track, and our Daily Jam.

It's been seven years since we last heard from Gang Gang Dance, their "Eye Contact" LP being one of my favorite records of 2011.  Well, a lot of shit has happened since then, but judging by "Lotus," the airy, new wavey first single from upcoming album "Kazuashita," they haven't lost a step.  Listen to the song below snag the record in June on 4AD.

While artists' font and capital/non-capital letter choices for their work are often obnoxious, Gang Gang Dance member Brain DeGraw's new work on the moniker of bEEdEEgEE is pretty excellent.  A nice bag of 80's style synth pop twisted and perverted through a drugged out world beat lens and layers of experimentation and drone effects.  Oh, and you can dance to it.  Debut album "SUM/ONE" is due next month on 4AD.  In the meanwhile, listen to "Flowers" featuring Lovefoxxx below.
