UK electronic artist Kelly Lee Owens is readying her new album "Dreamstate" for release this October, and just dropped the club-ready new single "Sunshine."  It's a swirly, blissed out raver that feels like the kind of stuff we used to shake and convulse to after getting stoned out of our minds.  Check it out below and pre-order the new LP here from dh2.

Kelly Lee Owens

The wonderful UK artist Kelly Lee Owens is back next month with her third full-length album, "LP.8."  Her sophomore effort, "Inner Song," was positively divine, and she has described the sound of the new record as a combination of Throbbing Gristle and Enya which is a sound i think we can all get behind.  Check out "Olga" below and pre-order the record here from Smalltown Supersound.

I almost slept on the sophomore effort from Kelly Lee Owens that dropped today.  "Inner Song" feels like a meditative mix of techno and pop, that these days means closing your eyes and dancing in your bedroom.  Listen to "On" below and get the record here from Smalltown Supersound.

Kelly Lee Owens - More Than a Woman

Coming off an excellent self-titled album earlier this year, Kelly Lee Owens just released a single covering Aaliyah's "More That a Woman," and then remixing it herself on the B-side.  I was never into Aaliyah's stuff back in the day, late 90's R&B being outside of my wheelhouse, but Owens' synthy and grooving take on the late artist's track is pretty infectious.  Listen below and get it here via Smalltown Supersound.

Kelly Lee Owens and Jenny Hval

London producer Kelly Lee Owens teams with experimental musician Jenny Hval on the former's upcoming self-titled album, due in March on Smalltown Supersound.  Listen to the creeping, oozing "Anxi" below, bubbling, subdued electronics paired with Hval's haunting vocals.  It's an eerie forebear for 2017.
