Still Corners - Lost Boys

Former UK synth pop group Still Corners, who now reside in my neck of the woods here in Austin, have a new record on the horizon this September called "Dead Blue."  The first single, "Lost Boys," is a smoking, haunted little number, a dark an moody dance jam for a hot summer night.  Watch the video below and get the record from Wrecking Light.

CHVRCHES at Mohawk pics

Awash in a sea of hipster kids at least a decade my junior, i caught CHVRCHES and Still Corners at The Mohawk last night and both bands were lovely, though both seemed unprepared for the heat assault of June in Austin.  It was a great show, sold out and crowded, and even Ben Savage was there (Cory Mathews whassup!).  Check out some pics below.
