Here's a sweet and dreamy little pop song from Sweden's Boys. Taking its cues from 60's pop as filtered through a lo-fi, bedroom aesthetic, "Rabbits" is a wonderful little sound nugget for a difficult week. Listen below and get the band's split 7" with Magic Potion from PNKSLM.

The Caretaker - Everywhere at the end of time
And speaking of Leyland Kirby, the artist just released the third volume of his "Everywhere at the end of time" project as The Caretaker, a six-volume effort of music chronicling the artist's own early onset dementia. As should be expected, it's pretty devastating. Listen to "And heart breaks" below and get the album(s) here.

RIP Tom Petty
This day just keeps getting worse and worse. RIP Tom Petty. To me, you'll always be that weird, kind of creepy, stoner guy from MTV when i was growing up, or maybe Lucky from "King of the Hill." Either way, it's hard to think of someone cooler.

October Horror Trailer - Pet Sematary
It's the first of October, so that means it's time for another month of horror movie trailers. Like last year, i'll be posting these without any babble from myself. And, as we seem to be at the beginning of Hollywood Stephen King Renaissance, let's kick it off with "Pet Sematary."
Nachthexen
Here's some pretty badass, synth-laden punk rock from a group of ladies from Sheffield, UK called Nachthexen. The music is sneering, snotty, and totally of the ass-shaking variety. Listen to "Disco Creep" below, and snag the 7" of the same name here.
