Ministry's "N.W.O." feels like appropriate July 4th music.  So here it is below, our Daily Jam.

Alabaster DePlume

Last year when Alabaster DePlume released the fantastic "Gold" LP, the artist's assembled group of musicians created so much music during their sessions, that a lot of the unused material is now surfacing on new album "Come with Fierce Grace."  Our first taste is the Momoko Gill assisted "Did You Know," a relaxed but contemplative tune that for whatever reason sounds to me like sitting on a beach at night, moon reflected on the surface of the ocean, the gentle crashing of the surf moving the sand around me.  Check it out below and pre-order the album here from International Anthem.

Lalalar

I first Istanbul's Lalalar last year, and was instantly hooked to the trio's grooving and danceable mix of Turkish psychedelia, Anatolian rock, and electro-pop.  It kicked ass.  And now they're back with their upcoming new album "En K​ö​tü Iyi Olur."  Check out the exotic and kind of ominous "Hem Evimsin Hem Cehennemim" below and pre-order LP here from Les Disques Bongo Joe.

Daily Jam - This Heaven

I rewatched Gregg Araki's "The Doom Generation" for the first time in decades the other day, and it holds up, a weird mix of youthful energy and confusion, quasi-nihilism, and sexual exploration.  The soundtrack still bangs too.  And i had completely forgotten about Love And Rockets' '90s output.  Here's a track from the film's soundtrack and the band's 1994 album "Hot Trip to Heaven."  Check out "This Heaven" below, our Daily Jam.
