I've never been just a huge Wilco guy, but i've certainly met some Wilco guys during my lifetime. And let me tell you, those guys are really, really into Wilco. Anyway, all that being said, "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" is a pretty phenomenal album. Here's the lonesome Americana sound of "Ashes of American Flags," our Daily Jam.
I've never cared all that much about them, despite the fact that I know they are indeed great and a good friend has loved them forever. Total Wilco Guy, in a good way. He took me to see them live once at Otto's in Dekalb, Il. Wilco blew me away that night. I mean, they were fantastic, otherworldly almost. But then I went right back to not really caring about their albums more than once-in-a-great-while. I guess I'm just not a Wilco guy. But I was for one night.

ReplyDeleteMe too man. I caught them at a festival once and thought they were pretty damn amazing...and then have never really thought of them ever since.
