Every now and then on this blog, i'll bring up a song that has that transporting, time travelling power to instantly place me back years or decades ago to an era i associate the track with. Urge Overkill's cover of Neil Diamond's "Girl You'll Be a Woman Soon" is one of those songs. The Fall of '94 vibes are really hard to escape when listening to it, particularly just hanging out and watching MTV with my friend who lived across the street.
