Nothing's really going on today, so why don't we all take this free time to go back and listen to an album we love again. I'm picking the 2008 album "Lazare" by French electro-artists Principles of Geometry. You know how so many music bloggers love the sounds of analog synthesizers and movie soundtrack music from the 70's and 80's (i be guilty of it meself)? Well, these dudes were doing it first. From start to finish, you can't lose with this album, and look for special guests like Vast Aire, Sebastien Tellier, and Poni Hoax. All in all, this was probably my favorite album of 2008, and the mix of hip-hop, electronica, ambience, and soundtrack vibes are just killer. Check 'em out on Tiger Sushi.
