Daily Jam - I Celebrate Myself

I love how so many notorious Italian movies are accompanied by the lush and gorgeous film scores.  Joe D'Amato's eroti-gore entry "Emanuelle in America" fits that bill perfectly with a wonderful soundtrack from composer Nico Fidenco.  Check out the lyrical version of the film's theme song, also called "I Celebrate Myself," as performed by Italian prog band Harmonium.  Listen below, our Daily Jam.

Severin Films currently has up for pre-order, a 15-disc collection of Black Emanuelle movies that i am trying to talk myself out of purchasing.  Laura Gemser!  Joe D'Amato!  Italian eroti-gore!  In the back of my mind, i know i'm going to end up ordering it...and then regretting it...and then not regretting it at all.  Anyway, here's Nico Fidenco with a song from the "Emanuelle Perche' Violenza Alle Donne," AKA "Emanuelle Around the World" soundtrack.  Listen to "A Picture of Love (Versione Strumentale)," our Daily Jam.

Joe D'Amato's "Emanuelle in America" is...well...it's something else.  Fans of taboo Euro-sleaze should definitely check it out, but it's probably not for anybody else.  That being said, Nico Fidenco's score for the film is wonderful and should be listened to by everybody.  Check out the lush, exotic, and groovy theme below, our Daily Jam.
