Warped drum arrangements cranked to excessive volumes cascading and echoing throughout your house, your headphones, your brain, disorienting your senses, punching you in the guts, and pulsing, pulsing, pulsing, while screeching layers of guitars, warbled vocals, and assorted noises rend your ears to shreds. Such is the album "Face Tat" by sonic acrobat and all around awesome drummer Zach Hill. Not an easy listen, but then again, what rewarding venture ever is? For fans of Lightning Bolt, Liars, and other groups prone to loud bursts of weirdness.
Check it out.
