New York band Violens released their debut LP "Amoral" last month, and i'm just getting around to listening to it. And, it's pretty damn good. Really Smiths/Morrissey inspired, it sounds like an updated soundtrack to missing John Hughes movie, poppy and fun, but just teeming with teen angst under the surface.
