Minneapolis is home to a number of awesome things besides Prince. The experimental R&B magic that is the musical collective Gayngs comes to mind. That being said, Gayngs mastermind Ryan Olson helms the boards for the first release from art-rock group Polica. It's moody, slow burner type stuff.
