Katie Gately

I'm not really sure how to describe the music of Katie Gately.  It's a weird mix of ghostly electronics, strange and distorted vocal effects, but an underlying groove to the whole thing.  There is a definite kinship to the likes of The Knife, but i wouldn't call it a reproduction in any way, just two artists traversing the same cold seas.  Listen to "Sample and Hold Me (Please Don't Scold Me)" below and head over here to listen to the rest of the "Pop Pop" EP.
