Deerhunter's new track "Monomania" has been making the rounds the last 24 hours or so, and i find it pretty easy to understand why. The scratchy title track from the band's upcoming new album is a raucous and swirling affair of crashing cymbals, shrieking guitars, and in-the-red vocals, a noisy revival of Bradford Cox and the band's early punk rock roots.
