Ennio Morricone will probably always land at the very top of my favorite film score composers list, but a close second would probably be fellow Italian composer Pino Donaggio. Donaggio's work, most notable for his collaborations with Brian DePalma, is lush and gorgeous, often haunting, and feels like it could just fill up every single celluloid frame it accompanies.
