I don't post nearly as much stuff about movies as i need to on this blog. Hopefully this one today inspires me to work on that more. Anyhoo, i finally got to see the fantastic "Butthole Surfers: The Hole Truth and Nothing Butt" documentary last night, and it was an amazing piece of work, a true testament to the Austin band of freaks, weirdos, and chaos agents. I expected to dig it a lot, and i did. I did not expect it to make me cry, and it did. Tom Stern's doc gets my full-throated recommendation (it's totally going to be on my year-end favs list).
