HINDS - Garden

Madrid's HINDS have finally got a release date for their debut LP of infectious, lo-fi garage rock.  "Leave Me Alone" is due in January next year on Mom + Pop, but you should definitely go ahead and listen to album opener "Garden" below right now.

Hinds - Chili Town

Hooray!  Today we get a new track from Madrid garage rock group Hinds, a band who has been making me excited for almost a year now since their debut 7" came out.  Their bouncy, raucous SXSW performances last March only increased that excitement.  Take a listen to the lovely and breezy "Chili Town" below, which will be included on the ladies' debut LP, hopefully out sometime this Fall.

Hinds

Madrid's fuzzy, lo-fi girl group Hinds, who used to be called DEERS until some lawsuit stuff, have a pretty wonderful cover of Thee Headcoats' "Davey Crockett (Gabba Hey!)" that they will be on their forthcoming debut LP as well as on a Record Store Day 7" split with fellow Spaniards The Parrots.  I'm really hoping to catch these gals next week.  Listen below.

New one from Deers

Earlier this summer, Madrid duo Deers released a 7" of truly inspired, lo-fi, garage-psych-pop candy that's been rocking my stereo on repeat.  The band is now apparently a four-piece, and they have an equally wonderful new 7" on the horizon.  Listen to "Castigadas en el Granero" below and be on the lookout for the "Barn" 7" on Mom + Pop in November.

*UPDATE:  You can pre-order now right here.  Hooray!

Deers

Somehow i missed out on the debut 7" from Madrid's wonderful garage band Deers.  "Demo" is a lo-fi dream, two tracks that sound like they were recorded in minutes and then unleashed upon an unsuspecting populace, 60's throwback jams to put smiles on all of your faces.  Sadly, the record is now sold out from Mom + Pop Records, but you can still grab the digital tunes here.  Listen to "Bamboo" below.
