Diarrhea Planet

I'm sure it speaks to my maturity level, but i love that there's a band out there named Diarrhea Planet.  And i love that they're as great as they are.  And i love that they've shared a stage with Melissa Etheridge.  And i love that because of all these things and much more, the name Diarrhea Planet is written all over the web...as it should be...as it will continue to be.  Or, for at least as long as the band is making great music.  New album "Turn to Gold" is out next month on Infinity Cat, and you can listen to their latest offering, "Bob Dylan's Grandma" below.  Hazaa!

Guerilla Toss

I happened upon Boston electro-scuzz noise punk band Guerilla Toss during SXSW last March, catching an intense and frenetic set at free day party over at Beerland.  They were a mess.  A hot, sweaty, screaming, writhing mess.  The group has a cassette, "367 Equalizer," coming out on Infinity Cat next month (super limited release), and here's a sampling from the album called "Cookie."  It too is a hot, sweaty, screaming, writhing mess.  Listen below.

Diarrhea Planet

Aside from having a name my inner child finds delightful, Nashville garage rock band Diarrhea Planet lay down some excellent and fuzzy rock jams for the masses.  Listen to "Kids" below, taken from the forthcoming album "I'm Rich Beyond Your Wildest Dreams,' out in August from Infinity Cat.
