Found a vinyl copy of Canadian band The Besnard Lakes' 2007 album "The Besnard Lakes Are the Dark Horse" the other day.  And there was much rejoicing.  Here they are with "Disaster," our Daily Jam.

The Besnard Lakes are one of those bands that for some reason i always seem to forget about, until by chance i come across a new song and am again reminded about how outstanding they are.  In February, the band is set to release a new 12" single called "The Besnard Lakes Are The Divine Wind," and the A-side "Laura Lee" does not disappoint.  Full and lush and gorgeous, the song sounds like exactly what i need right now.  Listen below and pre-order here via Jagjaguwar.
