Berlin based British artist Samuel Kerridge released a moody, disturbing album at the end of last year that somehow escaped my notice. "A Fallen Empire" is full of ambient noise, tape crack and hum, haunting textures and sounds, and propulsive synthetic beats to soundtrack your journey into the darkness.
