There is about a 10 year stretch of David Bowie's career that just doesn't do it for me. A lot of the music from that spread of time just feels uninspired...and kind of boring. That being said, there are certainly little gems that still popped up, nuggets of inspiration that shine all the same. One of those is "Loving the Alien," the first track from 1984's "Tonight."
