I really don't know what they put in the water over in Australia, but whatever it is, it certainly makes the continent spew out some of the most fantastic psych rock this world has to offer.  "Second of Spring," the latest from the quintet Beaches, is an album of epic proportions.  Fuzzy guitar wail, sun fried droning energy, and hypnotic garage stomp spread over 17 tracks of psychedelic mayhem, the record is cosmic blast from start to finish.  Listen to the album opening "Turning" below and get the record from Chapter Music.
