I really wish sometimes that i could get out to see more local music in Austin during the year, but then that whole having kids thing surfaces to throw that idea to the wind. I'm just kidding kind of, but there are quite a few local acts that deserve my attention. Here's hoping i can remedy some of that next week at SXSW, as i would love to catch Austin duo Being Dead perform their particular brand of weird and noisy, experimental lo-fi pop.
