So SXSW was cancelled due to growing concerns about the possibility of a full on coronavirus pandemic. It's a hard call to make. Maybe it's for the best. Maybe not. One thing that is certain is that a whole lot of folks in the service industry here in Austin are going to be in less than stellar financial straits for the foreseeable future. So, if you happen to be in Austin this month, go to a bar, go to a venue, go to a restaurant or cafe, go to a boutique, go to a record store, and tip well.
