Highspire

I have amassed quite a large music collection over the last 40 years, starting with cassettes in the '80s as a kid, and then on to CD's as a teenager, and vinyl when i started college in the late '90s.  It can get out of hand, so every so often i have to part ways with some of it, a purge to make space or put a little jingle in my pocket.  There's no real method to picking what does or does not make the cut, but every now and then i end up re-purchasing something i never should have let go.  Enter Pennsylvanian shoegaze band Highspire.  I'm not sure when i sold off the band's 2003 "Your Everything" CD, but long enough ago to have completely forgotten about them.  Until now.  Until i find they've got a new EP out with next month's "Gloria."  Thinking i'm going to have to re-add "Your Everything" back to the collection, maybe the 2021 vinyl reissue.  Anyway, it's good to have them back.  Listen to "Gloria" below and order the 7" here from Shelflife Records.
